Stall size should be based on your horse’s breed and exercise needs. Röwer & Rüb base their sizing recommendations on the German Equestrian Federation (FN) guidelines, which calculate minimum floor space as (2 x wither height)². As a practical guide: a 160cm wither height horse needs a minimum of 3.2m x 3.2m, while 168cm warmbloods or larger sport horses typically require 3.6m x 3.6m or more. Powder-coated steel offers the same structural strength in any RAL colour, ideal for stables with a specific visual identity. Stainless steel is the premium option – exceptionally easy to clean and still looks new after years of use, making it ideal for prestige facilities or coastal locations. All three use the same C-profile welded frame construction and stainless steel hardware throughout.
